About Dr. Faith Swartzendruber at Simply Well Chiropractic in Cincinnati
Dr. Faith Swartzendruber is a licensed chiropractor in Ohio, founder of Simply Well Chiropractic in Cincinnati, and a provider of both chiropractic care and SoftWave Therapy. Her path into chiropractic was not linear, but it has always been rooted in the same calling: helping people heal in a way that feels natural, respectful, and centered on the whole person.
As a child, Dr. Faith experienced health challenges that conventional care could not fully resolve, and chiropractic was one of the first treatments that truly helped. That early experience showed her how closely the body, nervous system, stress, and healing are connected, and it planted the seed for the work she does today.

Her Journey to Chiropractic Care
Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Faith first started in education, earning a Master of Science in Education. She taught elementary school for several years, but even while she loved teaching, she felt drawn toward a different kind of care.
That pull led her to massage therapy, where she started Simply Well Massage and studied techniques including SMRT, fascia release, cupping, infant massage, yoga, and stretching methods. As she learned more about the body and helped clients with pain, tension, and movement issues, she realized she still wanted to offer more.
She eventually chose to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated in 2021 with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and honors. Soon after, she moved to Cincinnati, bought an existing chiropractic office, and began shaping it into the practice she had envisioned: a warm, holistic, patient-centered clinic now known as Simply Well Chiropractic.
Training, licensure, and credentials
Dr. Faith Swartzendruber holds Ohio chiropractic license DC‑05144 and has been practicing in Cincinnati since 2022. She was trained in Webster Technique, holds an Activator certification and has training in SoftWave Therapy.
Before opening Simply Well, she also completed an internship at the Fort Meade VA Medical Center, where she worked with U.S. veterans dealing with chronic pain, post-surgical issues, and complex multi-area injuries. That experience helped shape her thoughtful approach to cases that feel layered, stubborn, or overlooked elsewhere.
Dr. Faith’s Philosophy
Dr. Faith believes chiropractic care is about far more than chasing symptoms. Her focus is to restore better communication between the brain and body, help the nervous system function more freely, and support patients in feeling stronger, calmer, and more connected to their health over time.
She talks often about treating the whole person, not just one painful area, and patients have described her as a doctor who sees them as a whole body rather than “just a joint.” In practice, that means listening carefully, explaining what is happening in plain language, and building care plans that give patients both relief and understanding.
Her approach may include:
- Chiropractic adjustments, both manual and instrument-assisted.
- Soft tissue and muscle release work.
- SoftWave Therapy for targeted, non-surgical tissue stimulation.
- Guidance around movement, strength, nutrition, and realistic daily habits that support long-term well-being.
Who We Help At Simply Well Chiropractic
Dr. Faith cares for patients across many stages of life, including active adults, parents, children, seniors, and people recovering from injuries or dealing with recurring pain. Patients may come in for back pain, neck pain, headaches, sports injuries, recovery after a long run, pregnancy-related discomfort, or even concerns like colic, constipation, ear infections, or sleeplessness in children.
She is also Webster Technique trained, which supports the alignment of the pelvis, muscles, and ligaments during pregnancy and is intended to create more comfort and room for proper baby positioning.
Simply Well Chiropractic is welcoming to people of all ages, genders, and identities, with an emphasis on dignity, compassion, and belonging.
Her Approach to Patient Care
In the treatment room, Dr. Faith Swartzendruber is less interested in quick fixes and more focused on understanding how a patient’s symptoms connect to the bigger picture of their body and their life. She takes time to ask questions, listen, and explain what she’s seeing so patients feel informed, involved, and supported in every decision. Whether someone is coming in for sports injury recovery, pregnancy-related discomfort, or everyday neck and back pain, her goal is to create a plan that feels both clinically sound and realistic for their day‑to‑day life.
Serving Veterans and Complex Cases
Before opening Simply Well Chiropractic, Dr. Faith completed an internship at the Fort Meade VA Medical Center, caring for United States veterans with complex, multi‑layered health challenges. She worked with chronic pain, post‑surgical issues, and multi‑area injuries, learning how to listen closely to people who had “seen everything” and still needed real, lasting help. That experience still shapes how she approaches stubborn cases and patients who have felt overlooked, rushed, or dismissed in other settings.
Why SoftWave Therapy is a Great Addition to Simply Well Chirorpactic
Dr. Faith Swartzendruber integrated SoftWave Therapy into Simply Well Chiropractic in 2023 as another non‑surgical, evidence‑informed tool for hard‑to-treat pain and mobility problems. She now uses SoftWave alongside chiropractic care to help patients with chronic ankle and foot pain, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal issues that haven’t responded well to traditional care. For many patients, SoftWave offers a way to stimulate the body’s own healing processes without injections, surgery, or long recovery times.

Outside the Office
When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll often find Dr. Faith out in the Cincinnati neighborhoods she loves—Madisonville, Hyde Park, Oakley, Fairfax, and Mariemont—grabbing coffee at local spots, browsing small shops, or just enjoying the feel of the community. She loves live music and often heads to Riverbend for concerts, soaking up everything from big-name tours to summer shows along the river. On quieter days, she’s happiest on the trails, hiking through Cincinnati’s hills and parks, taking in the city’s mix of wooded paths, overlooks, and winding neighborhoods as a way to recharge and stay grounded.
